Joseph, it was a lot of fun. I hadn't been in a cave since my college days. I'm planning another trip into this cave in December.

Wow, Tracy. That is so cool. Thanks for the encouragement. I have read some about the Run For God Bible studies. They seem like a great way to connect people to Christ AND running. I love the idea. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and sharing. Maybe we will meet again at another run.

Congratulations! You do not know me, but my husband and I were running near you a lot of the way. We are actually in your finish line pic :) (behind you) This was our first race too. We are members at Lookout Valley Baptist Church and have been doing a bible study called Run For God. It is a study about endurance in training for a 5k and endurance in your faith.
Anyway, my husband came across this while trying to see where we finished, just for future reference. I think what you are doing is wonderful and wish you the best of luck! You did great in this one so keep it up! God has given us all talents and abilities to help our fellow brothers and sisters, and I hope you can reach your goal to help this cause and be an inspiration to others.
